SuperServer is the nickname for my 40 TB personal data storage server, currently running in RAID 6 with an Adaptec 71605 RAID card on kubuntu 10.14. This baby can pretty much download the internet!
It used to contain an Adaptec 31205, along with a vast assortment of hard drives I have collected over the years - a number of which were formerly part of my K'nex hard drive rack. Those however, have since been removed and will eventually be re-purposed.
One thing that was kind of a pain with the case was the fact that the top drive bay was only for optical drives. I managed to find a hard drive bay for an Antec Nine Hundred on NCIX, but with shipping & handling it cost a lot more than it should have. It didn't quite match up either, and didn't have a fan grill or speed controller. But hey, it's better than nothing at least!
I also used to have three RAID cards at one point, one was an old IDE raid card to hook up a single ATA drive (since the other 2 were hooked into the motherboard directly) that used to be in the case, and another was just for the DVD drive since I'd used all the SATA ports on the motherboard. They've since been removed, though.
