Scrap Heap is a game I worked on as a third year university project with a couple of classmates during my fall 2010 term. The team consisted of the following people:
The game is an unfinished fist person shooter which is focused around the mindless destruction and complete obliteration of hordes of robots, akin to the gameplay style of Killing Floor.
The game features a few different weapons and enemy robots, and a couple of levels to explore - but there is no interaction (no damage, weapons don't work). All textures, levels and models are original content, all done by Marty.
The engine also utilizes the
XNAQuake3Lib for loading and rendering Quake 3 BSP levels in XNA. I also released a version of the library that updates it to be compatible with XNA 3.1 (since it only supports XNA 3.0), which can be downloaded
here.
Note: Scrap Heap requires XNA 3.1 to play
